Great potential, but pricing will decide if this survives or dies

I’ve been testing this new editor, and honestly it has serious potential. The workflow is smooth, the features are competitive, and it’s on par with big names like Copilot, Trae, Windsurf, and Cursor.

But here’s the hard truth: pricing will decide everything. If it comes in at the same level as those other tools or worse, higher there’s simply no reason for devs to switch. The market is already crowded, and users will just stick with what they know.

On the other hand, if this editor sets a lower, more accessible price point, I’m convinced it could trigger a massive shift. Developers, students, and small teams who can’t justify the high subscription fees elsewhere would move here instantly.

With the right pricing, this editor wouldn’t just survive, it could become the next big AI code editor, pulling users away from Copilot, Trae, Windsurf, and Cursor, and building one of the fastest-growing user bases in the space.

In short: the features are great, but the pricing strategy will decide if this tool becomes a leader or just another name people forget.

So far so good except that the credits are being used up way too fast. I’ve already spent around 250 credits just completing a few fairly easy tasks.

I will go back to windsurf. I just subscribed for 2000 credits and almost half is finished with a simple javascript project. And also I just received “Daily usage limit” in quest mode. This is too strange, I want to work more. I was using windsurf among the month wit the lowest subscription. It uses only one credit for each chat message. Too expensive, cannot survive with this prices. By the way it really nice editor with quest mode. I will go to say rest in peace if it dies
