Qoder’s agent got stuck in updating code for 1hour

Issue Description

Qoder’s agent got stuck in the “updating code” state for around one hour without making progress or completing the operation. The process didn’t show any visible error message or timeout indication.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Trigger a normal query through Qoder (e.g., modify feature with step by step implementation plan).
  2. Wait for the agent to start updating the files.
  3. Observe that the process remains stuck indefinitely without output or completion.

Expected Behavior

Qoder should either:

  • Complete the code update successfully within a reasonable time, or

  • Display an error/timeout message if the process cannot proceed.

Actual Behavior

The “Updating code…” status remained on screen for approximately one hour on app.js. No visible progress, logs, or recovery options were available. Manual restart was required to resume normal operation.

I have faced that challenged on more than 4 occasions. Agent used more than 2 hours to update a single line of code.

Hello, have you submitted a problem report in the upper right corner of the Qoder interface. We can only view the logs and troubleshoot issues after submitting them :grin:
