Problem
Neurodivergent individuals often face challenges like sensory overload, difficulty in planning tasks, and trouble communicating their needs in stressful environments. Existing solutions are either bulky, expensive, or not adaptive to real-time sensory changes. There is a need for an accessible wearable that can assist in detecting overload and offering instant AI-based support.
Solution
The solution is a wearable device (NeuroNav) integrated with sensors like MPU6050, ambient light, and sound detection, connected to a mobile app. The device detects signs of overload using sensor patterns and triggers an Assistive AI copilot that provides plain-language rewriting, one-tap communication messages, task-breaking assistance, and calming guidance. The system works offline using llama.cpp, supports personalization, and gives real-time help to neurodivergent users.
Use Case
NeuroNav helps neurodivergent individuals manage sensory overload, communicate needs quickly, and receive real-time AI support. The wearable detects environmental overload (noise, movement, light) and triggers a mobile AI assistant that offers calming guidance, one-tap communication help, task-breaking, and plain-language rewriting
