Issue Description
I know that Qoder is software developed based on VSCode. Are the plugin markets of the two unified and universal? It should be the case, right? I’ve noticed that some plugins, such as Jupyter, have a latest version of 2025.4.1 (release version) in Qoder, while in VSCode it’s 2025.9.1. The version in Qoder is significantly outdated.
I discovered this issue because earlier versions of Jupyter had problems and couldn’t start the Jupyter kernel (stuck forever, I know this is not Qoder’s issue but rather the plugin’s). However, since Qoder cannot upgrade to newer plugin versions, this problem remains unresolved. In contrast, VSCode has resolved it through version updates and now runs normally, I can use VSCode (and it Jupyter plugins) do my work smoothly.
So, why does Qoder not support newer plugin versions? Is it due to an older kernel that cannot sync with updates, or are there other reasons? As a data analysis professional, I find it difficult to use an IDE without Jupyter. Does anyone know why this is the case?
